Pedestal bowl w/swan pedestal

Picked this piece up a few years ago and wonder if it is the real thing and, if so, what is it worth? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome Donnauser,

I have been studying your pedestal bowl and I believe that it is not Murano in origin. It could very well be Italian but most likely not Murano. I was trying to read the label but all I can make out is the word "Murano" (sorry I need knew glasses). I have seen labels that have the word "Murano" in them but the wording usually means made in the Murano style which would apply to your pedestal bowl. It can be very misleading. I always hate to deliver bad news on other people's glass, but I do not feel your bowl was made in Murano.

Hi Donnauser as tam bam says ,not Murano in style off, label has to my mind the dual purpose of covering maker as well as misleading buyer has been discussed several times on forum.Cliff

Thank you both so much for responding. I too did not feel it was Murano but it was so beautiful I bought it anyway. ;)
