Hi,
Does anyone know about the Arte '80, Vitri Artistici Murano logo/exhibition ?
I saw an inquiry from browneyedg... re; a piece. engraved...
By some twist of fate I have a piece from the same time(logo/sticker) engaved by the same artist...A pair of parrots on a perch about 19" high, 12" wide...in clear and amber..thanks for any help or interest folks..:) :confused: :o

Like the birds....I google "Arte '80" and came up with the following page at Muranonet:

which describes Arte '80 as being a company formed by Renato Anatra and Andrea Tagliapietra, who I believe is related to the well regarded Lino Tagliapietra. Andrea is still around, I've see some of his aquariums for auction and also on the web.

I can't seem to find much else about Renato Anatra on the web:( ..couple of pieces for sale...guess it might be best to head for the library:confused: ..I'll post any info. found onsite...hope all is well with everyone.
