dont know a thing about murano...but i have some

HELLO i am new to this sight also new to murano i bought 3 pieces at a yard sale for .50 cents each it is all the same but also different it looks to be napkin holders pink/green and blue all have gold stickers that say murano very pretty also have what looks to be a fruit bowl same colors different sticker this one is red can anyone help to tell me if real what the worth is and why different colored stickers please help thank you saunie from wv:o

Hi and welcome. Is there any way you can post some pictures of the three pieces? Someone may be able to help. Another good way is to look on eBay or other internet sites to see if you can find pieces that look like yours. This is what I do quite often.

If you can take some pictures and put them in jpeg format, you can post them if the file size is not too large. The times I posted pictures, I reduced their largest dimension to about 3 inches, I believe. I would love to have a look at the pieces you bought. Whatever they are, for 50 cents they have to be a good deal.

I understand the picture thing. I didn't learn to do pictures until a year or so ago -- almost 20 years after getting my first Apple computer. (Shudder -- has it been that long?)

hi this is the second time i typed this i dont know where the first reply went lol .the pieces that look like a napkin holder has a gold sticker with red wrighting that says MURANO glassware crystal clear made in Italy. the other piece that looks like a fruit bowl has a red sticker with gold wrighting that reads LAVORAZIONE ARTE MURANO made in italy hope this is some help thanks for being patient as i said i know nothing on this subject or the computer I amazed myself figurin out the forum but then again I dont know where i sent the first reply i sent ha ha thank you SAUNIE:D

The stickers had all the information you needed. Your pieces are made by Crystal Clear and Lavorazione. I don't know much about the companies, although I have a few pieces made by them. They are very pretty. I'm glad the stickers were left on. They made identifying them so much easier.

They are real Murano. They are common pieces that don't have a lot of market value right now. Lavorazione and Crystal Clear make pretty things, however, so they are very nice to look at. Probably in the future they will be worth good money. Hope this answers your question.
