Hello!
I'm new to this site and new to the whole, wonderful world of Murano! I had never heard of the stuff before and was sorting through the house this afternoon when I thought I would look up the two intriguing glass clowns on the bookshelf given to my husband by his Aunt and Uncle. Well, found the site muranoclowns.co.uk and now have a new and wonderful appreciation for the craftsmenship and beauty of all these pieces. Also loving the huge personalities these clowns have! Our 2 clowns are sadly chipped but still beautiful (not even sure if they are Murano or replicas - post and photos in 'What are they worth' forum if anyone can help) and I think I will be saving them for my daughter for the future and, who knows, may even add to the collection over the years :).
