Hi
I just got this Clown here that is Made in Italy - that we know for sure. It has a label with it, that is attached with a Red Seal Stamp on the back of the label. I can't read what the label says, or who the artists is that has initialed it.

It is about 9.5 inches tall, and about 4 inches wide at the base. Is this a newer item, or older?? Also on the bottom is is marked *Italy* and with either the number E180, or E18D

Anyone have an idea of the age, and the value of this? I bought for a $3 at a tag Sale.

I can see the Murano *glass* influence on this --

Thanks

I googled "TP Ceramiche", and it seems they have made many figurines over the years. The numbers on the bottom of the pottery are usually a style or item number, rather than an artist. If I had to guess, I would think its from around the 50's. Your right about the clowns style, it is very Muranoesque.
