Hello to All,
My name is Jeanine and I am very happy to have found this forum. I look forward to learning more about Murano glass. I love glass period !!!! Murano however, has had my attention for the past year and it's all about Murano lately. It all started by taking my boyfriend glass hunting with me. He found this very unusual bowl/ashtray with a bird perched on the rim. He was told by the Antique store dealer that it was Murano. It did not come with any labels and he asked me to try to find out more on the piece. Well I haven't found anything more on his piece but I have found a new fondness for Murano glass. My other glass collections have not been added to since but I have gotten a new Murano collection.

Hi all -


very new to this!!

Bit of a long story - wnet to a summer carnival last week! paid 25p for a tombola ticket! won (as the tombola store holder described a horrible clown) that I think is a Murona clown!! I think It has the scorpion Mark on his hat, Nose, button and shoe but I also think he is missing something!! I have looked on various sites and cant find a matching one!! can any one pint me in the right direction?? he has yellow hair and a black hat and what looks like it should be a ornage bottle in his left hand (to look at)

Hey Saralee, Your clown sounds interesting! Can you post a picture of the it? Without a picture of the clown, its harder to figure out if its Muran or not.
