I am from Australia. I have a US and Aussie pasport.
I have 4 children here in the US. I stay with each one for a month every year and then go back to my homes in California and Sydney.
I love going too yard sales, swapmeet and shops. I collect a little bit of everthing but I find a lot of Murano, Polish and Czech glass. Who knows the maker of many of the pieces. When I get home I will post picture of a few items I need help identifying.

Thanks for letting me become member. I might be able to help out when English or Aussie glass is posted. I have some pieces that you would think were Murano that are English. I have been collecting them for 50 years.

I am 70 at the end of next month for all you who are wondering. LOL
Thanks again. Nice site.

Thank you for the nice welcome.

I will post pictures of some of my glass when I get back home. I have some very nice old pieces. I also have unusual pieces that are not real expensive but different. I need help with the makers. I do not have Murano books. I have most of the other glass books. I need to invest in several good books on Murano glass but not sure what is the best. I am not so much concerned about value as I am the origin and maker.

Prices are all over the place these days. Things seem to be either bargen basment or at top drawer prices. Nice things seem to be selling for a price but I have no idea what that would be. I do pick up more Murano glass in Australia cheaper but it is much harder to find there as is everting else. You would think I would find more English glass there but I find more on the east coast of the US.

Well, back to the grand children. They keep me young. I have one great grand daughter. She is almost 2 now.

Are you up near Coffs Harbour? My late parents lived there and I have a brother living there.
