Hi,
I usually collect Murano glass and I am usually active in the other forum but yesterday I decided to purchase for my kitchen a piece of Italian pottery to go in a blank space over my cabinets. I purchased this piece because one I loved the artistic lines of the piece and two because I have a flower/Italian theme in my kitchen. All and all I just fell head over heals for the piece even though there is a chip inside the top but it is going in a high place so you will not be able to tell.
So tell me please, is what the seller saying true? Plus I googled some of this info and I was not able to find much. Please help. I absolutely know nothing about pottery other than it is pretty.

Thanks for any help in advance.
