Hi I am hopping that someone can let me know the maker of these two birds please. Im almost sure the two birds are murano but not sure on the maker. Any info would be much appreciated.

Since no one has replied, I figured I would give it a shot :p. I also believe that your birds are Murano, as you have mentioned. On a piece with a common theme, without a signature of label it is almost impossible to properly attribute. However, you may want to consider Barovier & Toso as a manufacturer, they have made many items using the ca'd'oro (gold dust inclusions) technique. The reason I suggest them as a possible manufacturer is their pieces seem to have much more gold dust than others. This can be seen in other pieces by Barovier, including many cordonato oro pieces. A tenuous link, by it may be worth following up.

Just ran across this old thread. This is a Barbini piece. They did a lot of bird sculptures with bases like this. Just thought I would add on the ID for anyone who is still interested.
