Hello - I've been given three Murano vases to sell on eBay by a friend's Mother. I would like help assessing them before I list. Two were appraised in 1989. First, a heavy bodied black vase with mat gold decorations, hand painted and enameled, 12 1'2" high. On the bottom it states: "decorato a mano murano oro 24 K ff." This was hand painted in white script. The assessemt value was $2500. The second is a blown vase, green, with gold encrusted design as well as hand-painted florals, enameled. 16 3/4" high. It has a sticker on it's base that says "Murano Cenedese Vetri." It was assessed at $750. The third vase is white with hand-painted florals and gold enamel, as well as gold around the rim. It is hand signed in gold "Gari, or Sari." It is 13 1/2" high. I have no clue as to it's worth at any time.
I could list pictures if it would help . . .
Any info would greatly benefit my assisting this elderly lady-
Thanks,
Robin

Hi - thanks for responding!

I'm going to try to download photos . . . I may have to send more than one post to do so -

Can't wait to learn about them!

I can't seem to upload pictures - I've made them tiny, and made the resolution really blurry but they won't transport. Any advice??

Thanks -

Robin

Robin, Welcome to the forums! You should be able to upload images up to approximately 8x10, without reducing the resolution. How large are the images?

Hi -
I made them tiny, like 2x3 inches with really horrid blurry resolutions, but no matter how small I mad them, they were rejected . . .
Can I send them somewhere else where you can see them?
Thanks,
Robin

Robin, did you make them jpeg? Some other formats are larger files. You can also post a link here. It will work just fine.

Hi again - I've tried everything I can think of to import the photos, but the size is too big . . . yes, they're jpegs with small dimensions, but I can't seem to get the kb's down. Does anyone know how to do this? Or can I post the pics somwthere else (like shutterfly) where you can see them?
Thanks much -
Robin

Hello to everyone who helpfully responded,

I couldn't get the photos to load, so I finally decided to list the pieces on eBay. If you'd like to look at the two I've listed so far, their item #'s are:

7412617577, and
7412638140.

Would love to hear what you make of them!

Thanks,
Robin
