Help needed identifying retro italian pottery bowl

Hi Everyone, I'm from Australia, and I'm new to this forum, but I have visited often over the past year or so....thought I'd be able to identify my Italian Glass and Pottery on the net, but it's not as easy as it seems.

Does anyone know who this bowl may have been made by? I know it's Retro Mid 20th Century, and it's really heavy...measures 11 & 1/2 inches in diameter.
