I was browsing on E-bay this morning and found this piece. I knew I had seen it before and low and behold I found where I had seen the piece. It is featured on the cover of Italian Glass book. Here is the link to Amazon.

Hi Tina. I am not real sure if the book says if it is signed or not. I don't have a copy of the book either. I saw the book for sale on Amazon. I don't think most of his pieces were signed but I am no expert when it comes to his pieces either. I am just going by the few pieces I have seen by him. I think Anita could tell us more about his pieces than anyone could because she is a huge fan of his work.

Same here. It is undoubtable worth more than $3,750, even in the middle of a recession!

The real value of an item is what it sells for at the time. $3,750 is what is worth right now. Does that make it a good buy? I think the art world has been over priced because of deep pockets for a long time. I think it is just adjusting back to where it should be. Beautiful homes in Detroit are selling for less than they did in 1955. And they are not in bad areas. We may never see the prices where they were. The world is in the start of a depression and it has a long way to go to hit bottom. Car slaes were up because the government took money form those who have it and gave it to those who wanted a car. Did you notice that the rest of th econemy slowed down because the money was spent on cars. The well is dry. Unless it is supper rare my money is in the safe.
