Rossi bowl

The attached picture is of a piece created by an artist named Rossi. I would like more information about the artist and its value of the piece. Also how would I market it. A friend purchase it in California several years ago.

There is a label on the bowl that states "VETRERIA MAESTRI MURANESI Made in Murano, Italy" The label also has an M with a reflection of that M which is somewhat discernible in the photograph.

You have a nice bowl. I can't really read the label though and it would probably help us identify the bowl. If you could possibly post a better picture of the label maybe someone will identify it.

You said Rossi made the bowl. I have a Sergio Rossi vase so maybe it is him or possibly another Rossi made your bowl. Hard to say without being able to read the label.

This may not be the same Rossi, but there is a Rossi Glass located in Niagara Falls, on the Canadian side. They were formerly known as Chalet Glass.

If I remember right, the Rossi people came to Canada from Italy. Some of the earlier Rossi pieces are from Italy and the later ones from Canada. (I might be confused here, but I think it's right.) The Canada pieces I have seen have all be true cranberry glass. I believe it is their specialty.

Does the label say that the piece is made in Italy?
