Is it Murano?

Hi
Has anyone got any info/views on this one, designer value. Looks to have the quality of a murano piece, very heavy. Hopefully the picture is in the attachment.

An unusual piece, looks like marble?
I had a hard time trying to determine what it is? Is it a figural piece or a sculpture?

Its a stylized vase with opening for one stem. Glass dark red/black.

I have a AVeM dish with the dark glass on it. In the case of my dish, it is amethyst. I don't know if the color is the same for your vase, but it looks similar. I've not seen your vase anywhere, but I'll definitely keep an eye open. Anita

Thanks for the mail, I think the colour is best described ar maroon perhaps plum. I feel sure that i saw one of these advertised as murano a couple of years back, but don't have a reference on it. Patrick

Plum does sound like a better description for the color of some of the canes on my dish, too. It is a much better description. Anita
