Hi all,

I'm new to this site and find it very interesting and informative.

I was given a blue and white 8" plate that looks like Staffordshire but it isn't
it has a four petal flower type marking on the bottom (which I couldn't capture in a photo) I can vaguely make out made in Italy on the bottom as well. The plate has a border of oak leaves, wheat ears, acorns, flowers and grapes(maybe blackberries) and a cetral picture of a horse/donkey driven cart and a farm house. Can also make out a few letters on the bottom of the plate guardi p-delib. Would be very interested in learning more about this plate if anyone can help.

Hi. The plate does not look to be majolica, but it may be not one that I recognize. Try matching the flower marking against one of the majolica manufacturer marks at one of these sites:
