Unsigned.
Apart from the factory fault in the picture, no damage.
Max height about 9 inches

From comparison with other bits I've seen I'd guess Seguso Vetri d'Arte, but this is just a guess.

Any help appreciated.

This is a tough one. Several companies make similar sommerso vases. Seguso, Salviati, and Cenedese come to mind right away. I've also seen quite a few pieces that are Czech, Scandinavian, or Asian, or are modern Italian pieces. If there are no scratches at all on it, I would be inclined to think it was a recent piece, but it is hard to tell. It may be an old piece that has been stored carefully. (If it is old, the style reminds me a lot of Salviati or Seguso.)

Maybe someone can come up with this exact vase. That would help.

Hi. Maybe its just me, but is it a vase? I had trouble discerning if there was an opening or not. I would normally agree that it could possibly be attributed to Seguso, or even Formia, a current mfr in Murano. However the whole inclusion in the sommerso layer is unusual, and I don't believe that they would have sold something with such a noticable flaw.

Yes, it is a vase, see picture below:

Only other bits I can add that might help:

Base is very lightly scratched.

Looking at the clear at the bottom, the glass has a sugar water look (ie the lines you get in a solution of water and sugar) - hopefully this picture makes it clear what I mean.

Thanks for the info so far, every little helps

Ahhhhh! It is a vase, the mouth is larger than I expected.
I do not think this is made by any of the major furnaces, primarily because of the rippling and the "smudged sommerso" :( However the colors are perfect together. Have you considered Scandanavian? I wish I could have been more helpful, as some things are very difficult to attribute.
