Does anyone know who made this bowl? I sold it recently and tentatively identified it as F. Toso, but I knew it could be a few of the other Murano artisans or maybe even Czech/Bohemian. It had the Murano feel, weighing in at about 4 pounds. I'm still very curious about it. I wish I had found this group before I sold it.

It looks like Toso to me, Pina's book has a nice spread of Toso bowls, and the many variations and shapes. (I don't have the book in front of me at the moment.) I think someone else had posted a similar colored item, but a much bowl, maybe 6 inches wide, a few months ago.

I saw a lot of those pictures, too. It seems that most of Fratelli Toso's copper inclusions are in swirls, but there is just something about the look. I've seen some work of Barovier Toso and even A.Ve.M that has the shape of this bowl, however, so I am really just guessing.
The recipient of the bowl may be returning it to me. It has some minor scratches on it -- described in the listing, so I don't know... I scratch my head when someone expects a vintage/antique piece to be free of any marks. It's okay. I don't mind having my Murano kid back. I wouldn't want it to be with someone who didn't appreciate it. (Strange how attached we can get to our glass, even after it goes to a new home)
