Oh!! Look at my new Murano Bird find

I just bought this today when my hubby and I were out "junking". it has the original label, the red scalloped one. It's body inside is made up of different colored glass tube pieces. It reminds me of Christmas hard candy. Anyone know this piece, age, artist or value?

I haven't seen the bird before, but the cane work and the label make me think it may be AVeM. The label is considered to be generic, but I have seen some pieces that I was pretty certain were AVeM that had green or red labels of this type.

I hope someone else will have something more definite.

Its a name of a manufacturer in Murano which is now out of business. They were known for brightly colored items with canes and murrine, among other items, and are highly collectible.

Do any of you have any idea of price range? I also notice they did dark colors with gold leaf. I have a black duck with a split tail. It's wings are gold leaf inside the glass. the duck is black with clear over it , the beak is clear. Could that piece also be AVeM? I need to get photo bucket or something, I have lots of pieces that are not marked but I know they are Murano.
