Lovely pair of opalescent parrots, Murano

Hi there,

Heres another part of my collection that I was wondering about. Firstly, are they likely to be Murano? Secondly, any ideas on the possible maker?
They measure approx 7" tall. Beaks, crests and base of birds are all clear glass. The beaks and crests have gold inclusions. The body of the birds are coloured glass at the top (ruby and green) that fades into white glass that becomes opalescent in the ends of the wings and tails. I have a feeling the bases could be crystal, they just don't look like normal glass. The bases of the stands are smooth and polished. Again I have no info on age or makers as there is no labels attached and they were bought second hand :o . Would really appreciate any feedback :) Thanks heaps

Im not sure if these are Murano, do you have any more information on these birds?

Hi Drabkin, sorry not much more info on them :o . They were purchased from an op shop, so i don't really know anything about them. I was just hoping someone might have seen something similar.

Hi. Ive seem similar roosters, i believe, Fratelli Toso, but their details were finer and more fluid. Not sure they are Murano though.
