Pier 1 Italian Pottery

I find alot of Pier 1 Italian made pottery like this beverage pitcher at thrift stores and flea markets.
What do you think of the quality or value of these items?

In comparison to Majolica, the quality of the pottery really isn't great. It is definitely a mass produced item.
