At the end of the week I am looking to add a Italian Pottery Forum to this bulletin board. For the past 3+ years, this has been a successful forum, devoted to only Murano glass. I have learned more than I have contributed by far, and can honestly say that this forum has forced me to expand on my Murano knowledge.

It has been great seeing new and old members pull some arcane knowledge out of the air, in order to help a newbie or another long time member.

During the past 18 months I have been selling Italian Pottery on the other part of the website, in addition to the glass. In the course of this, I naturally receive questions similar to the ones I receive on a daily basis regarding Murano Glass. Because of these questions, and the lack of a single place to find this information on the Intenet, I would like to expand on this site to add a small section devoted to Italian Pottery. (If you think figuring out who made a piece of Murano is difficult, you will love the pottery!)

I will add a poll, so please vote and also post your thoughts on the addition of an Italian pottery Forum in this thread. As a member, your thoughts on this potential expansion are important to me.

Thanks.

Charlie

As long as the forums are kept separate, I think it's a great idea!

I like the pottery also. I don't know much about it, but would find it interesting to learn something new!
