I have this gorgeous clamshell vase that is done in blue opalescent. Or maybe green. I think blue but the photo's make it look green. In doing an ebay search the names nason & co and also seguso come up with similiar but not exact vases like this. Please help me figure out the correct attribution, so I don't make any errors. The sticker on the bottom is red and gold and I think it says venetian.
Thanks for looking and for the answers This is my second attempt to try to do this, I hope I did it right this time.
did seguso work for nason and company?
price guess?

It looks like it may be made by Seguso, but I have this nagging feeling that it is made by Cenedese or someone else. I can't find the word "Venetian" on any of the Seguso labels I have on file. I ran across this vase a few days ago, but can't remember where. One just like it is identified on the internet. The problem is finding it again. :(

I also saw this style vase at ebay but they were either cased in clear or in white...This one being blue opalescent is probably a diff maker. The cased ones were attributed to nason & co
Then there was also a sommerso one attributed to seguso at ebay.
I have googled, froogled and pulled my hair out...I have looked at every label on the net I can find and still no clue, maybe someone else will have an idea.

Hey guys, this looks to have many inclusions and bubbles to me for Seguso, also the bases grinding seems weird? (Don't know how to describe it, but are all clamshell bases ground in this manner?)

I would take with a very LARGE grain of salt any specific attributions you see on ebay. Way too many ebay sellers don't have a clue and label any old piece of glass "Murano." I prefer to think they're just ignorant, not fraudulent, but when you read a description like "lovely old glass swan made by Murano" you just have to roll your eyes and wonder why ebay doesn't do a better job of policing itself. Sorry for the rant!
