hI there
I just purchased this beautiful piece of what I believe to be a real murano,
5 birds with open wings sitting on a brach,(one bird needs to be glued to the branch}. There are three sets of leaves stuck to the branch and on top of each leave there are fruits; the first leave carries a bunch of apples, the second set of leaves a bundle of grapes and lastly three flowers on the last leave. Unfortunately it was purchased from an auction house and they did not specify any description.I am assuming it is murano, I can see the gold colouring inside the glass branch as well as inside the birds, also the beautiful colours and the finish of this piece tells me almost for sure it is a high quality sculpture

The length of the branch is 16.5" and birds aprox 4" tall

If any one knows or has seen this piece before I would like to have more info on it, such us date of manufacturig, and perhaps the manufactures or artist name. The value will also be helpfu. Thanks a lot

Hi. I really like the birds!

I have seen similar birds in a larger size sculpture (I think there is even a thread about this in this forum somewhere), as birds are a popular item, but not a smaller, more detailed version as you have. They seem very well done, and have no reason to believe that they are anything other than Murano.
