Hi,

We found you on the web and hope this will not be an imposition.

Recently we came into possession of what we were told are all "old" Murano glass pieces and would like to attempt to verify and find out approximate values. If you could help or direct us to whom to contact, we would be most appreciative:

These are the items:

1-orange/green-stem carrot [2 3/4 inches long];
1-green string bean [2 1/4 inches long];
1-yellow with green stem bananas (a bunch of two) [1 1/4 inches long];
1-red with brown & green stem tomato [one inch tall];
1-orange with green stem (one stem broken off) orange. Think it's
an orange [one inch tall];
1-wrapped oblong yellow candy with twisted aqua wrapping on
both ends (printed label "Murano, Made in Italy) [2 3/4 inches long]
1-wrapped rectangular red with yellow strips candy with
twisted clear wrapping on both ends (printed label "Murano, Made in
Italy) [3 1/4 inches long];
1-wrapped round purple with white stripes candy with twisted green
wrapping on both ends [2 1/2 inches long].

Hope this is detailed enough to give you an idea.

Thank you in advance for any courtesy you may show.

Regards

Steve

Hi. The candies are probbly not worth much, as they are generally made for tourists or as small gifts, but the fruit is intriguing. Are they part of a set?

Glassman,

Thanks for your response.

Actually, there are two more "fruits." A red strawberry with a green stem and a red apple with a long, straight green stem.

Don't know if they are an actual set, although they all appear to go together and were all in one (with the candies) when we received.

If I wasn't clear, the "Murano" labels are on two of the candies, not the fruit. But fruit are probably too small to affix labels and candies and fruit were all together.

Your thoughts.

Thanks
